TIFFANY AT LAFAYETTE- Published in conjunction with a display of the two Tiffany leaded glass windows plus lamps from the Neustadt Collection of Tiffany lamps at Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 2016. - Lafayette College commissioned two leaded stained glass windows from the Louis Comfort Tiffany Studios: Alcuin and Charlemagne in 1898, The Death of Sir William Sydney in 1899. - Two others were commissioned in 1912 and 1916 for the Chapel, but were destroyed in a devastating fire. - Over the years, the windows had deteriorated, but during renovations of the College’s Skillman Library in 2002-2004, Lafayette alumni funded the restoration of these beautiful windows by the Willet Stained Glass Studios in Philadelphia. - This book describes in detail the sources of the designs, how the windows were created and manufactured, their materials, and their restoration and re-installation, as well as information on their maker and the times. - Contents: Tiffany at Lafayette, Exhibitions 2016 - Lafayette’s Legacy in Tiffany Glass by Elizabeth De Rosa - The Tiffany Windows at Lafayette College: Paintings in Color and Light by Lindsay R. Parrott - Intimate Blending: Louis Comfort Tiffany’s Life and Art by Jennifer Perry Thalheimer - Tiffany Rekindled: Restorations of Lafayette’s Great Windows by Richard Prigg.
